← Replies in Original Ranch® Pork Chops Recipe

I didn't care for this, sort of bland and the milk solids want to burn so I had to cook the chops at a lower temp and they ended up drier than usual. I've made this a few times and the type of ranch seasoning doesn't seem to matter as it all has the same problem. I think this is a recipe better suited to baked or instant pot chops.

Just checking...you know this is the seasoning packet for Hidden Valley Ranch and Not the bottled ranch dressing.

Yes I was aware. The ranch packets have milk solids (from whole milk) and buttermilk solids ( 3rd ingredient in the packet) and also contains whey and casein ( both also milk ingredients) in them unless you ment ranch dip mix which i didn't try
