Amazing! Used extra lean mince and it was definitely delicious - for a less healthy option that has more flavour payoff use regular beef mince. The pork mince felt a little pointless - didn't notice any difference in flavour between beef/pork and just beef. No need to buy a second pack of mince. Add spices to the meatballs in the mixing stage even though it doesn't say to, like rosemary, thyme, oregano, garlic and onion powder, etc. Don't overcook the meatballs when you first fry them. Only a slight browning is best, the inside should still be pink. I went full deep brown and the texture was not as nice as the first time I made it. I would recommend splitting the recipe in half to feed a family of about 3, because it was a lot of food, especially when half the bowl is pasta anyway. Unless you like having leftovers, which we definitely do, so no harm done. Otherwise very delicious!!!
