My critique is of the sauce. I added whatever veggies I had on hand.
Considering the changes I had to make it was pretty good. I had to substitute 1 tsp garlic chili sauce for the sambal oelek. Should have used more. I only had dark brown sugar so I used that. While I like the sauce, I thought more ginger would be better and my husband thought it had a soap taste to it, but that, while eating, it grew on him. Lol. I did not use any cilantro because he doesn’t like it. So I’m not sure where he was getting the soap taste from. But I’ll definitely make it again.
