I used the crockpot method (seared beef and sautéed onions and garlic in a pan before) and did need to add some extra broth after a few hours. Meat was tender and delicious after 7 hours. I cooked udon noodles on the side instead of in the crockpot. Served with green onions and toasted sesame seeds on top. Next time, ramen noodles and jammy eggs!
