I thought it needed more taste and added paprika, tomato paste and worcestershire sauce which are usually used in stroganoff recipes. I also found the gravy very thick, next time I'd half the amount of flour.

A "proper" Hungarian stroganoff should not have any flour except what is used to dredge the meat just before searing, or shallow frying with a fair amount of fat or oil.
