Modifications I made
Leave out the 1 1/2 tbsp chipotle powder and instead add 4 jarred chipotles in adobo sauce when you add the crushed tomatoes
I used 2.5 lb beef chuck next time use 3.5-4lb the recipe makes so much sauce !
I probably could have thicken the sauce more by taking the beef out at the end and boiling the sauce and then letting it condense more. This took a while I did it in a Dutch oven but I’d like to try it in a slow cooker the end result was amazing but it was time consuming. Def be sure to brown the meat and make sure you don’t have any burnt pieces in the pot just browned pieces.
