Although I wouldn't have minded a bit more spice my husband liked it as written, well almost as written. ๐. I doubled the sauce with the exception of the honey. I only used 1/4 cup of honey, which ended up being perfect. For veggies I cleaned out the refrigerator. Carrots, celery, large head of bok choy, sugar peas, mushrooms and about 4 ounces of FRESH chow mein noodles topped with green onions. I didn't measure the veggies but I'm guessing about 8 cups total. When I make this again, and I will, I might substitute hot honey for the regular honey. Or maybe I'll just put a dollop of garlic chili oil in mine. As a side note I used chicken thighs. After they were sliced I did velvet the chicken for 20-30 minutes before cooking.
Edit: Made this again, almost all the same veggies. I doubled the sauce, but I made a change in the honey. Doubling would be 1/2 cup, which I mostly did. However of that slightly less than half cup I did 1/3 of it regular honey and the other 2/3's of it Momofuku Chili Crunch Hot Honey. So good. Because I used this hot honey I did not use, nor need, the red pepper flakes. I believe I got this hot honey at World Market. I'll definitely make it this way again
