I didn't have canned chicken soup, but I did have a container of sour cream that I added instead. I used vegetable stock instead of chicken stock. Cheese griller sausages cut up instead of bacon. My secret ingredient whenever I make soup is a tablespoon of vinegar (red wine in this case, but balsamic also works well). The rest was all the same. Absolutely amazing and quick to make. Just leaves you with a lot of dirty dishes.
