I've been on a hunt of my own for that perfect hot cross bun. It had to be fluffy, spicy, adaptable to either choc chips (kids🙄) and either raisins or cranberries (highly recommend the latter). It got demolished so fast, my hand nearly got mauled off trying to get myself a bun to at least taste! I'm pleased to report that even for my overly critical palate, these were precisely what I think HCB should taste like... 😘
