Great recipe. I modified the recipe a bit to fit my liking. I doubled the recipe. I added Worcestershire Sauce (2 tbsp), omitted the carrots, and used half the brown sugar recommended, I used parboiled rice instead of white rice and I added diced tomato and onion powder. I used a beef broth base to make the broth. I did not add any additional salt since the broth base can be very salty. I also used extra virgin olive oil to sautée the veggies. I did not cook the cabbage until it was soft, I prefer my cabbage to have some texture. Not bad. I would make this again but I would probably not add any sugar next time.
