It was good. Vegetable oil temp 350-375 was plenty. At recipe temp it was a little sketchy and extra messy. Covering the small pot caused condensation and that made it even worse. Took around 2min to cook them. Came out beautiful, but not super crunchy though I substituted milk/lemon juice and didn't soak for more than. Maybe 10min. Still very good. My 9yo son helped and was super excited how good they looked and tasted. Probably could have done 1min or 1.5min and finished them in the oven air fryer for extra crisp.
