I called it "aggressively mediocre". It reminds me of the type of food you'd get from a frozen dinner at the grocery store. I think not cooking the chicken or onions first to brown them makes the entire dish feel uncooked. It was easy, but making curry on the stovetop is still better in my opinion. I also want rice and not noodles when I have curry

That was my mistake with the recipe the first time. Second time I fried the spices in butter then the onion and chicken. Pinch of deggi mirch too and its a great recipe, my kid loves it too
