Jasmine Rice is long grain. Using a medium or short grain is sticky rice and is what is used for sushi. I used a rice vinegar as well as Kewpie Mayo which is also traditional. Using onigiri molds, which are very inexpensive, makes this fast and easy to get the desired triangle.
