Went searching for recipes to use with my new ice cream maker and found this gem last year. I will say first try my son and I over cooked it and everything separated/curdled a bit but we powered through and it tasted fine but the texture was all wrong. Second try we managed it okay but the alcohol didn't cook off much so every bite tasted like whiskey which wasn't terrible but was not expected. We'll be making it again for Friends-giving this year and leaving out the alcohol all together this has officially become a family favorite.
