Instructions

Step 1
In a medium pot, place the cream, half and half, pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice seasoning on medium flame.

Step 2
Whisk the sugar, salt, vanilla and egg yolks together well, and when the half and half is at a low simmer, pour it over the egg mixture whisking constantly, then return the mixture to the pot.

With the heat on low, cook the ice cream base, stirring with a spatula frequently, until it has thickened up and coats the back of the spatula well.
