These could have been better. I don’t know if I should have “washed” the cured egg yolks, but as they were steamed was just way too salty for the ratio of cookie this recipe yields.
The number of cookies in the yield is misconceiving - I got maybe 24 small cookies, not 36 as it states.
I’ve made better salted egg yolk recipes….this needs quite a bit of tweaking.
