This was really good. I followed the recipe very closely, and I think next time I might omit the pork chops and double down on the beans. The beans were delicious but the pork chops were just okay - they should probably be seasoned with a little salt and pepper at least.
I had never cooked with a fennel bulb before, maybe it's more common in the UK. I loved the way the sweetness of the fennel totally balanced out the onion. And also I liked the arugula (rocket) and usually I don't really care for arugula.
