Instructions

Step 1
Heat oil in a pan on low. Add onion, garlic and chopped basil stalks. Cover with a lid and cook until softened
Step 2
Stir in chopped fennel, tomatoes and drained butter beans, season with black pepper. Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 mins stirring occasionally until thickened.
Step 3
While simmering, heat a frying pan or griddle on high setting. Fry pork steaks for 5/6 mins on each side until cooked through.
Step 4
Stir torn basil leaves through the beans and top with the pork. Sprinkle with rocket, drizzle with pesto and serve with crusty bread.
