Made this for our first anniversary! And the whole fam loved it.
Notes and changes:
I did use a 7in? (From Daiso) for the cake and 8in for the cheesecake.
Water accidentally got in the foil for the cheesecake so it kind of did in the batter- which we did ended up liking the texture. It was more of a flan/pudding. Happy accident!
Used vanilla paste because I love seeing those black vanilla spots.
Make Lemon Simple Syrup for the cake.
Added crumble around the cake. Great for a crunchy texture. I do think the frosting amount as said would not be enough for a good final coat. The amount was enough for a crumb coat and top decoration.
Very delicious and will make for special occasions ( lotsa work but worth it! )
