It was good, but a bit weird for my kids. Ways I would improve: nix the lemon juice. There was not nearly enough sausage- at least triple the amount next time. Add a generous amount of salt, pepper and garlic powder at the end. I LOVED the suggestion from someone before to throw in some scrambled eggs at the end. I’ll try that next time. And then right before serving, I’ll add the apple so that it’s still crispy and cold, but swap out the Granny Smith apple for a sweeter apple, like pink lady.
