I forgot a photo before we tore into it! But here is some of a plate. It has a slight sweet taste to it. definitely not bitter, sour, or bland! Lots of flavors going on especially with the corn, salsa, and cream of chicken. You can't really taste the cream of mushroom. All 4 kids ate this, so definitely kid-friendly and recommended. I would suggest eating this warm/hot. I tried left overs after I got the kids to sleep and it was not as good. plus, the Doritos became soggy, obviously. Overall, really good and I'd make again.
