I use honey instead of syrup. To make it much healthier (and just as good), giving you SO many health benefits, add a bit of chia seeds and ground flaxseed (antioxidants, natural energy, lower cholesterol, lose weight, heart healthy, etc., etc.), as well as shredded coconut. You really don't even realize the chia and flax are there. I use mini chocolate chips....better results than normal size. I can only eat a few at a time and definitely notice a difference in energy level, but without bothering my anxiety. I keep a jar on my desk.
