It took me a long time to make this. Next time I will use a frying pan instead of my cast iron skillet because the steam escaped from the sides of the skillet so it took a long time to cook the broccoli and carrots. This recipe seemed like a lot of work for me, so it will just be for special occasions. My husband loved it.
