I doubt i would make this again but if I did I would definitely add more sweetener to it. I realised the 'optional glaze' (2.5 cups of icing sugar) was probably carrying the burden of flavour.
I had to cook it for almost twice the time specified although that may be my oven.
That said, I have enjoyed it with a smear of butter and a cup of tea, i just think there are better recipes out there! I saw another blueberry scone recipe on BBC and the reviews were pretty mixed so maybe it is an acquired taste. I don't think I've ever had it so can't compare.
