These were AMAZING. My kids (5 & 3) loved them too. My husband said we need to add this in the normal rotation and I agree!!!
I used Classico brand Basil Pesto and 2 cups of rotisserie chicken from Costco that I had pulled and frozen previously. I got a bag of that chicken out of the freezer to make these one of the easiest meals ever! I also put a thin layer of miracle whip on the top half of the rolls, not sure if it added much to it except calories, so I would probably leave it off next time!
I also have a Classico Sundried tomato pesto that I would like to try with this recipe another time. I'll edit this comment when I do!
9 sliders wasn't enough. I will make more next time so we have leftovers for lunch the next day!
