My first time using filo, not a big fan but I'm hoping it's the poor quality of the brand that I used as it kept sticking together and then naturally would rupture...
The dish itself is quite nice.
Served it with köfta from a recipe I found, dolmas (rice in vine leaves from a can) and a dollop of yogurt/tahin sauce with pepper, garlic and lemon. Obviously some coriander goes along nicely with it.
Might add a salad next time to balance out with some freshness as this was quite a filling, heavy meal.
All in all this took me about 90 minutes but I'm putting the blame on the filo 😝
