Put my roast in the crock on low for about 12 hours, then 2hrs on high to get out to 203 degrees. The meat absorbed the flavor of the marinade perfectly!
The rice I did 100% in a rice cooker. Measured it the same way I would write rice and used chicken broth and added the butter. When it finished I added the parm and spices. Good consistency but bland so I put in some seasoning salt and that made it perfect!
