I really loved this dish. My husband and I used cream of chicken like some others mentioned instead of mushroom. I had it in a smaller pan and piled it like a lasagna and it only needed an hour and five minutes in the oven at 350F. I added some cheese in the middle layer and laid most on top which was absolutely awesome to get a bite of since it became a little crispy. Mine seems to be a little more sauce-y than other pictures here, although it did thicken up, but I was impatient. As a meat and potatos fan, this was really great. I added some garlic powder and paprika to the meat. Next time I would recommend at least a pound and a half of meat, and more cheese (I used more cheese, but I would recommend others do the same), but overall this was a hit. It could be a little bland but it's a great, easy recipe to spice up the way you want!
