Didn't have porcini powder and didn't want to buy it just for this recipe so I chucked a bit of miso paste in with the stock. Also fully agree with comments on the original, the steak doesn't need 8 minutes!!! We had thin sirloins and did 2 minutes per side. Also used creme fraiche as that's what I had. Served it with rice. Absolutely gorgeous for a treat meal.
