Warm oil until nice and runny, add onions, garlic and tomatoes, Sautee/ cook/ simmer whatever until kinda Golden. Meanwhile brown ground beef in another pan, add salt and spices. Then combine into onion pot. Add tomatoes sauce from can, add some water to make it a little liquidy. Boil then cover and lower heat and let simmer. The longer the better. Add various spices and salt and even brown sugar to taste. The sugar makes the sauce less tart
