I added the following for extra flavor and texture - 1/2 tsp smoked chili, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, 1/2 tsp paprika, 1tbsp oregano, finely chopped 2 small carrots and a bell pepper, 1/2 tin sweetcorn, 2 tbsp Tomatoe puree, 1tbsp coriander powder. I cooked it in the slow cooker for 5 hours, reducing the water a little. I also used 2 tins of black eyed beans and 1 tin of mixed bean. Delicious!
