Whilst the sauce is delicious, the ricotta mix really doesn't add to the recipe. Definitely prefer bechamel with lasagne. Using ricotta is basically for laziness and removes the authenticity of the lasagne. Definitely NOT the best Lasagne. 👎👎👎👎👎

Hard disagree. Bechamel may be the most "authentic", but I would argue most restaurants use ricotta instead of bechamel, is because it is better. Just like tacos are better with cheese, even if that isn't "authentic".

Alot of places use ricotta. Honestly if you though ricotta didnt go with it you should have changed it.
