Honestly, I wouldn't make this again. It wasn't bad by any means, but it was just okay. I followed the recipe - only replacements I used were flour because I didn't have cornstarch and I also added some of my own seasonings because as is, I felt it was too sweet. All I added was some Slap Ya Mama seasoning, Badia Complete, extra garlic, and then probably 3 TBSP of White Wine Vinegar to add some acid since the sauce was a bit sweet. I also added Go-ch-jang sauce to my own plate because some of the other people that were eating this don't like a lot of spice.
I cooked it about 5 min less than what the recipe said and the chicken was just slightly going into dry territory, so you may want to reduce the time about 8min less or so to make sure the chicken doesn't dry out. Also I had to shred the chicken because it wouldn't cut into chunks.
It wasn't very garlicy to me at all, it tasted maybe closer to teriyaki in my opinion. Like I said it wasn't a bad dish and everyone ate it, but nobody went back for seconds and I don't personally think my family would want me to make it again because it was just okay.
