This recipe has been one of my go-to staples ever since I found it. It’s delicious and easy and one-pot! Great way to use shredded rotisserie chicken. I will only put cheese on top and have also skipped it before. When it’s mixed in it’s overpowered by the flavor of BBQ sauce. Since BBQ sauce is high in sugar if I can find it I’ll buy lower-sugar sauce (which the only difference seems to be that it has water as the first ingredient!) and I’ll make sure to put some water in the empty bottle and shake it up to get every last drop.
