Was a disaster for me. I should mention I have zero experience with candy but here's my experience:
I could only get 2-3 slices of Kiwi per fruit, and even then, it was hard to skewer them without breaking, and I lost a few.
The toffee mix needs to be in a really shallow pot or the kiwi falls off when you hold the skewer up to dip it. Lost a couple more that way
Recipe didn't say whether to leave the dipped Kiwi in the ice bath. I tried leaving it, it stuck to the bowl. I tried not leaving it, and the toffee fell off too easily. Held it in there for a bit, which seemed to be best but can only do one at a time and the toffee is cooling so you're on the clock, lol
Either way, when transferred to any kind of plate, the toffee all stuck to the plate.
I tried some pear as well, for fun, but the toffee was just a mess for me :(
