Prick pie shell with a fork prior to pre-cooking. I make an onion, ham, swiss cheese quiche where i cook 1 medium sliced onion in a little oil until they are translucent and blond in color. Scatter that at bottom of pre cooked pie shell, place about 1 cup of sliced or cubed ham on top, then about a cup of Jarlsberg or good swiss and cook for 30mns.
