Let me begin with that I like spicy food. Hence oh, my overdoing of green onion and cilantro as the garnish. I did not have the turmeric which is very healthy for you and which would have made the broth a deeper yellow color. Instead of the Chinese wine I substituted some Sherry. Also I should mention that I poached a whole chicken this week. I have been using it for the soups I made. A great time saver and a provider of chicken broth.
