It was okay but not as it was supposed to. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, it came out very dense and rubbery, not fluffy or moist at all but instead very firm/rigid. It was also very smooth and hard on the baked sides, like a tile almost. Not at all soft or moist. They would also not really raise much, I added additional batter to imitate a thick pancake after flipping but it messes with the shape and the texture was the same... They tasted okay besides these problems but can someone give me some pointers maybe on what the problem might be?
edit: made them again, with fresh baking powder and plenty of butter in the pan. they came out decent, though not like on some of the pics i see in comments. also recommend some vanilla extract or aroma.
