Unfortunately, I didn't have the same experience as others. I found this bland and gritty. I did replace the chick peas with white beans. Needs more spices, and maybe some spinach or kale. I even removed some and pureed it to see if that would be better but no avail. If you try making this, double the spices (except the garlic). I had to throw mine out because nobody in my family liked it. You experience may be different.
