Had these by themselves (without the sauce) using both fresh and frozen broccoli. Halved the recipe and still made about 15 balls. Swapped shallots for leek, and used GF breadcrumbs as had these in pantry. Needed an extra egg as struggled to roll them (even so they were crumbling but held together enough to cook). Very tasty - surprising cheesy flavour and could've been fooled into thinking they weren't broccoli!!
