Overall, very tasty. It was VERY sweet, so I would adjust the amount of sugar. I wanted to love it in the slow cooker, but I think it would be best to just bake the meatballs in the oven and make the sauce separately (which you already pretty much do anyway) and add together just before eating. I used a mix of ground beef and ground sausage which gives great flavor! Crushed red pepper flakes are a must to balance the sweetness.
