I made my own gravy instead of using packet powder. A bit of flour, the grease from the sausage, and season to taste. Simple and you get to make it taste how you want instead of mass produced bland packets. The end result was really good, though! We love biscuits and gravy in this house, and while regular biscuits and gravy are MUCH easier, this allows for evening before prep and just stick it in the oven while you for whatever else you need to in the morning. Perfect for the busy weekend family breakfast!
