The directions are over-complicated and kind of annoying. My rewritten recipe card says:
1) Cut 3 chicken breasts into bite sized pieces. Season chicken bites with salt, pepper and onion powder.
2) Blanch asparagus (Add to pot of boiling water. Boil 3-5 min. Add to ice water to stop cooking, set aside)
3) Pan fry chicken bites in half the butter and oil in batches ‘til nice and brown. Add minced garlic & Italian seasoning ‘til fragrant.
4) Remove bites from skillet. Deglaze skillet with broth (and/or dry white wine). Add butter, lemon, parsley, sriracha. Mix well. Add back chicken & asparagus.
Reheat and serve with egg noodles, mashed potatoes, riced cauliflower etc.
