I forgot to take a picture before we got to decorating🤷🏿♀️. Now, I will preface my thoughts by saying that I love sweets; the sweeter, the better.
However, these sugar cookies were a low-level sweetness and still tasted amazing. I also do NOT like sugar cookies, but found myself munching on them while my kids were decorating.
I ended up cutting the recipe in half, which I shouldn't have done because we could have used more cookies.
I definitely recommend this recipe. If you like your cutout sugar cookies to be sweet, you can consider adding more sugar, but I would strongly advise against it if your purpose is to decorate them with icing.
