This definitely lived up to the hype! I removed the lemon peel, about half of the sage leaves, and the cinnamon stick and used my immersion blender to make the sauce. I used minced fresh garlic because I didn’t have whole cloves. If possible, try to use a pot or Dutch oven that fits the chicken snugly so that the chicken is more immersed in the milk. I only had a big roasting pan and needed to add more milk about halfway through.
