Was good but felt like some flavor was missing: on second try I mashed this recipe with the one from mommymusings.com. I added a tbsp of soy sauce (sub Worcestershire) and two tbsps brown sugar along with the broth. I stuck it in the oven (covered) for two hours at 350, then aded carrots and put it back for one hour, then potatoes for a final hour. Meat came out much more tender this time plus the flavour is absolutely delicious.
