I used rye bread here, but I would suggest some kind of white bread if you want to bring it to another level.

Thank you! =) For poaching eggs - I hear you, it took me some time to perfect as well. I added very detailed instructions on poached eggs in one of my other recipes, so please take a look: https://my.whisk.com/recipes/10777834a6bd60a4cc58d18d52db601bae3 Most important thing is to keep your water "calm" and not bubbling like crazy, be very gentle when handling eggs, and stay close because they turn hard very quickly...
