I will preface that I did not like this but that might be due to me learning that I don't prefer lamb. However the sauce was bland and watery, essentially just tomato-ey tasting and not much else. I just found the whole dish to taste like bad spaghetti, and it lacked richness or sweetness that usually accompany lamb. I did make a few adjustments (changed the grain, used canned tomato) so if you absolutely love lamb, you might like it. I would recommend adding something like oats or breadcrumbs to the meatballs, and more spices.
