I would definitely make less frosting, there was way too much frosting for the cake. For a better cake just put a thin layer of frosting because the cream cheese frosting will definitely overpower the spice cake. Other than that, the cake was great I highly recommend for some yearly fall baking.
I’d also recommend adding some pumpkin pie spice to the cream cheese for a little more spice.
