My husband and I really liked this! I left out the bay leaf and celery, and used chicken broth instead of vegetable broth. There was no way I was going to try to get boiling soup into a blender, so I just mashed the potatoes and lentils with the back of a soup ladle once they were tender to thicken the broth. Added a generous amount of black pepper at the end and served with a baguette. Easy and tasty!
